When it comes to defining your investment values, where are you right now?

I haven't really thought about what matters most to me in terms of investments. I have a general idea (climate action, social justice, etc.) but haven't formalized it. I've clearly identified my values and know which ESG themes align with them. I have a written values statement and actively track how my investments align with it.

How confident are you in identifying greenwashing and avoiding misleading 'green' investments?

I'm not sure what greenwashing is or how to spot it. I know it exists but I'm not confident in evaluating claims independently. I check third-party ESG ratings and understand the basics of due diligence. I thoroughly review independent ratings, regulatory filings, and certifications before investing.

What's your current experience with sustainable investment vehicles in Canada?

I haven't explored any sustainable ETFs, mutual funds, or green bonds yet. I've researched some options but haven't made any sustainable investments. I own a few sustainable investments but I'm still learning about diversification. I have a well-diversified sustainable portfolio with regular rebalancing.

How do you currently approach monitoring and rebalancing your sustainable investments?

I don't monitor them—I set it and forget it. I check occasionally but I'm not systematic about rebalancing. I review my holdings annually and rebalance when needed. I have a formal quarterly review process and track ESG ratings regularly.
